MAGNUS WIBERG- HANDCRAFTED MUSEUM QUALITY MUZZLE LOADER & ACCESSORIES

In 1976 I was given the opportunity to completely restore Swedens´ probably best preserved and genuine 18TH and 19TH century gunshop in the small village of Fågelsjö in northern Sweden. This building contained a complete shop for wood working as well as a smithy for forging and rifling the barrels and forging locks and parts plus equipment for sand casting the furniture of guns.

These last four pictures show the barrel boring and rifling machines in two of Sweden´s old preserved gunshops, Bingsta and Rot Skans.

These following pictures show some other things that I built, among others a swedish helmet or casqeof the 1840´s, and a ca 1680 wheel lock carbin with sling for the royal swedish guard.
