In 1976 I was given the opportunity to completely
restore Swedens´ probably best preserved and genuine 18TH and
19TH century gunshop in the small village of Fågelsjö in
northern Sweden. This building contained a complete shop for
wood working as well as a smithy for forging and rifling the
barrels and forging locks and parts plus equipment for sand
casting the furniture of guns. |

These last four pictures show the barrel
boring and rifling machines in two of Sweden´s old preserved
gunshops, Bingsta and Rot Skans.

These following pictures show some other
things that I built, among others a swedish helmet or casqeof
the 1840´s, and a ca 1680 wheel lock carbin with sling
for the royal swedish guard.
